During the time span from 1995 to 2007 A.P. Green Industries’ workers had filed almost 400,00 lawsuits against the company and two of its partners Harbison-Walker Refractories, and Global Industrial Technologies Incorporated. Out of their 1,200 products, 22 of them were found to be containing asbestos, and the percentage of the toxic material in their products ranged from 3% all of the way up to 18%.
Employees working for A.P. Green Industries were exposed to environments full of airborne asbestos fires. Those most exposed include: factory workers, utilities men, factory workers, and steamfitters.
