Kaylo brand pipe and covering were sold for twenty years from 1953-1973. Not only was the product used in a commercial and industrial location, but it was also used in residential homes.
The company excelled, and in 1996 their name became Owens Corning, and they began to manufacture various building materials. The company stopped using asbestos in the Kaylo Brand in 1972 and stopped altogether in the 1970s.
